What is Physiotherapy?

Elevate physiotherapists are highly qualified health professionals who work in partnership with their patients to help people get better and stay healthy.

A Chartered Physiotherapist treats injuries and diseases by correcting and improving the body’s own natural healing mechanisms, rather than using drugs and surgery. A wide variety of techniques are used to help muscles, joints, nerves and other soft tissues work to their full potential.

Preventative measures are very important at Elevate Physiotherapy Clinic. Our physiotherapists will spend time teaching you how to avoid recurrence of your problem by utilising different proactive recovery modalities, either within Elevate Performance Academy or Elevate Holistic, delivering such programmes as Personal Training, Pilates and Yoga.

Our Chartered Physiotherapists employ a wide range of skills, including mobilisation, manipulation, massage, exercises and acupuncture, aided by the use of sophisticated and revolutionary technological advancements—all designed to help restore function, relieve pain and promote healing.

The field encourages development and facilitates recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them to remain independent for as long as possible.

Our physiotherapists also work closely with GPs and other health clinicians to plan and manage treatment. GPs refer more patients to physiotherapists than any other healthcare profession.

Using advanced techniques and evidence-based care, physiotherapists assess, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of health conditions and movement disorders. Physiotherapy helps repair damage, reduce stiffness and pain, increase mobility and improve quality of life.

We understand the importance of treating injuries quickly and effectively.
